Rafael Tiago Juk Benke
Bio
JD, Attorney at Law, Master in Law of International
Economic Relations (Catholic University of São Paulo, Brazil), LLM in
International Economic Law (University of Warwick, England - Chevening Scholar),
PhD candidate (World Trade Institute, Switzerland). Mr. Benke has practiced as a
lawyer and consultant in Brazil. He was legal advisor to the Secretary of
Foreign Trade of the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign
Trade. He has worked as coordinator of international affairs and advisor of the
Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association. Mr. Benke is also involved
in academic activities and publications, participating in courses and speeches
on international law in Brazil and abroad. Currently he is a visiting scholar at
Georgetown University Law Center, Fellow of the Institute of International
Economic Law and Research and Editorial Assistant to Prof. John H. Jackson,
being responsible for the Journal of International Economic Law.
