Inés Bustillo

Bio

Dr. Inés Bustillo is the Director of the Washington Office of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).

Prior to assuming her present position she was Economic Affairs Officer at ECLAC.

Dr. Bustillo was a Professor of Economics at Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico City and Assistant Professor of Economics at The American University in Washington, DC.

She has also served as a consultant to the World Bank, the Center for Latin American Monetary Studies (CEMLA), and Operadora de Bolsa in Mexico City. Dr. Bustillo holds a doctorate in Economics from the American University.
